Ms. Gayla Burgess

Welcome to the Linn-Mar Community School District.

I am the administrative assistant to the superintendent.

I have been with the district since 2003 where I served as building secretary for Bowman Woods Elementary. In 2007 I helped open Linn Grove Elementary as building secretary.

In 2013, I left the district to try something different and worked for Grant Wood Area Education Association as a PowerSchool support person. Then, in 2014, I learned there was a job opening as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent and felt a pull back to Linn-Mar, so I applied and this is where I remain today.
