Michelle Gapstur

Hello! My name is Michelle Gapstur, and I teach the 6th and 7th Grade computer classes. I have been teaching computer classes since 2007 and I have been the 6th and 7th Grade computers teacher at Oak Ridge since 2016. I love what I teach and feel so lucky to be a part of the Linn-Mar community!

I am very excited that this year my classes are making the switch to the Project Lead the Way curriculum. We will begin with the App Creators class and next year add the Computer Science for Innovators and Makers class. I think these classes will be an amazing opportunity for the students to learn about computer programming. More information can be found on my blog post.
